Open Hearts Ministries is a non-profit organization providing assistance to Men, Women, and Children in the Merrimack Valley, working in conjunction with local area churches to help all God’s people.
The focus of this ministry is to provide structure, through work programs, housing assistance, food, clothing, mentoring. Built on faith, and secured with hope, resulting in individuals entering into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Ultimately, returning to the workplace, confident, with a well established foundation. Our services are located at 217 Main St. Haverhill, MA. and are absolutely free for anyone who is in need.
OHM Food Ministry - Providing nourishing meals, warm clothing, and a safe environment where people can come and relax and enjoy a time of fellowship.Sunday afternoons From 1:30-3:30 pm at the First Baptist Church: 217 Main St Haverhill, MA Meal served from 2:00-3:30.
Clothing Shed - Clothing will be handed out on Wednesdays between 9:00 – 11:30 am at our clothing shed.
Bible Studies - Thursday 6:30-8:00 pm.
Workshop Advancement Program - Tuesday-Wednesday-Friday
9:00am - 1:00pm
Currently we are helping to support 8 individuals by providing a structured environment starting our day with a time of prayer; mentoring and counseling, followed by our work shop. The work shop gives assignments such as; sorting items, kit assembly, Mailings, etc.
Counseling - Open Hearts provides Spiritual counseling to any one who is in need. Based on biblical teachings of Encouragement, Hope, and to be reassured that God DOES TRULY CARE!
James 2:15, 16 says
